FAQs

Here are some of the questions we hear most often:

How do I care for my new paint job?

We will provide you with complete care instructions for your newly painted vehicle at completion of repairs. The most important thing to remember is no wax for 90 days. This allows the solvents to completely evaporate from the new paint. Another good tip is to avoid washing your vehicle in the sun. This will help prevent water spotting. Feel free to contact us for complete care instructions.

How long will it take to repair my vehicle?

When performing collision repair, it takes approximately one day per five repair hours to complete repairs. This time can be less or more depending on the location of damage to your vehicle. It is always our goal to repair your vehicle correctly and return it to you as soon as possible.

If you believe your vehicle has hidden damage, we can remove damaged parts at the time of inspection so that the estimate is as accurate as possible. If an appraiser is scheduled to look at you vehicle, call and we can arrange for the inspection to be performed at our repair facility. An accurate estimate will help avoid supplements on the repair and greatly reduce the repair time.

When performing restoration repair, complete refinish, and custom paint repair time will vary depending on the amount of work being done. We will discuss repair time with you when preparing the estimate.

What information does the repair facility require after an accident?

Once an insurance claim has been filed, the most important piece of information we require is the claim number. It is very helpful if you can provide contact information for the file handler on the claim as well. Please feel free to call us in the event that you have an accident so that we can help with any questions you might have throughout the repair process.
